SatoshySync, a platform that allows users to sync their Bitcoin wallets across multiple devices and applications, has announced a strategic partnership with a blockchain infrastructure provider that enables builders to launch their own Bitcoin layer 2 solutions in a few clicks.
The partnership plans to create an avenue to accelerate the development and adoption of Bitcoin layer 2 technologies, such as the Lightning Network, sidechains, and state channels, which can enhance the scalability, privacy, and functionality of Bitcoin.
According to a press release, the partnership will allow SatoshySync users to easily access and use various Bitcoin layer 2 solutions that are powered by BVMNetwork, without having to download, install, or configure any software.
Also, every user will be able to create and manage their own Bitcoin layer 2 nodes, channels, and contracts, using a simple and intuitive interface.
They will also be able to seamlessly switch between different Bitcoin layer 2 solutions, depending on their needs and preferences.
The partnership will also enable BVMNetwork users to leverage SatoshySync’s wallet synchronization technology, which can improve the user experience and security of Bitcoin layer 2 solutions.
They will also be able to sync their Bitcoin layer 2 wallets across multiple devices and applications, such as mobile phones, desktops, browsers, and hardware wallets.
Backup and restoration of Bitcoin layer 2 wallets, will now become seamless using SatoshySync’s encrypted cloud storage service.
The partnership is expected to launch in March 2024, with a beta testing phase starting in February.
It will initially support the Lightning Network, the most popular and widely used Bitcoin layer 2 solution, while adding support for other Bitcoin layer 2 solutions, such as Liquid, RSK, and Stacks, in the future.
