About HV-MTL
HV-MTL (pronounced Heavy Metal) is an NFT collection of 28,086 NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. They were released to the public as part of a gaming project exclusively for Sewer Pass NFT holders.
HV (Heavies) is a unique, dynamic NFT that evolves based on the holder’s decisions. There are eight different HV types and countless different trait combinations. Each has its own skills, personality, and roles, but they’re all designed to transform.
The NFT is a part of the web3 game also called Heavy Metal which was released in July to gamers, but can only be accessed with an ownership of any HV-MTLs.
HV-MTL Roadmap
The HV-MTL Forge is the main feature of the second phase of the roadmap. The game has two seasons so far, each with different updates and rewards. Here is a summary of each season:
- Season 1: This season started on June 29, 2023, and introduced the basic gameplay of the Forge. The players can build and customize their workshops, discover blueprints, gather materials, and craft upgrades for their HVs.
- Season 2: This season opened on July 20, 2023, and added new features and items to the game. The players can now filter nests by Amp rewards, unlock exclusive items for BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC holders, and enjoy a new environment with a beach theme. It also introduced seven new objects and one tile to unlock in the crafting station, along with four premium objects and one premium tile.
- Season 3 kicked off on August 10, 2023. Now you can kick back, close your tabs, and touch grass knowing that your HV is hard at work (and definitely shitting up the place).

HV-MTL NFT Utility?
HV-MTL Holders and Forge gamers are eligible to earn rewards (called Amps) during the game. They follow the HV specifically.
Apart from that, owners of BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC NFTs will unlock unique in-game items, adventures, and resources. Some will unlock in Forge, and more will unlock in the Rift.

The Creators of HV-MTL NFT
They were created by Yuga Labs on 14th March 2023 as part of the game to be released later in May called Forge.
The team at Yuga Labs is led by Spencer Tucker the Chief Gaming Officer responsible for all developments and gaming issues related to the gaming company
Yuga Labs, which was founded in February 2021, quickly gained influence and success by onboarding celebrities and broadening the community, reaching a company valuation of $4 billion by March 2022
CEO Nicole Muniz, COO Jasmin Shoemaker, and Chief of Staff Nicki Schiller lead Yuga Labs. The company’s co-founders are Wylie Aronow and Greg Solano. Zeshan and Kerem are core members and lead developers of BAYC.
When to Mint HV-MTL?
HV-MTL NFTs were burned to holders of Sewer Pass NFT holders on March 15th, 2023. Currently, they are being traded on NFT marketplaces to give liquidity to holders and increase the exposure of the project.
Where to Buy HV-MTL NFT?
According to BAYC creators, the process of earning new NFTs is called summoning the Mechs from a power source.
